Ok Foxpaw, I see im going a little to easy on you. So lets try some harder moves, Ill teach you a way to fight a fo- *he stops himself before saying fox* I mean badger. *he jumps up in the air and swirls and lashes out a claw* Then when you land.. *he fell to the ground landing on his feet, pretending to go under the badgers stomache and nipping at the air* Try to do that, maybe add some of your own moves into it.
Umm.....ok. **Jumps into air, slashes at where the badger's eyes would be, lands, and nips at where the hind leg would Be** Was that good? also, teach me some moves that could wipe out a fox! (Foxpaw doesn't remember his past. He knows he is a fox, but smells like a cat.)
*he hesitates* Ok, and that was wonderful! Ok with a fox, they have to much neck fur so when your battling against it, its a smart choice not to bite the neck, it wont hurt them and they would have the chance to fling you or maybe even to a death blow. Now for our lesson, pretend I am a fox and I stray onto your territory, try to attack me.
Ok. **Tackles Puaclaw from the side and pretends to grab his throat, then lets Go** Was that good? And istead of going for the neck, I went for the throat. Or do they have lots of hair there to?
*he purrs again* Good job, you remembered! They have less hair there so it would be more effective. Most apprentices forget that, good job Foxpaw! Now, lets to 1 more training session then we can go back to camp. Now, im going to be the fox that is going to attack you. Tell me when your ready.
*he stopped suddenly hearing a big WHAM at the stream* Foxpaw! Did you hear that?! Lets go see what happened and check to see if anybody is hurt. *they dash off*
No. **Wanders twoard the thickest part of the Forest** Now, let's find some prey. **Spotts a hare with fluffy, white Hair** A rabbit? In leafbare? **Stalks over to it, until it runs Away** Fox-dung! **Gives chase and jumps onto the hare, then kills it with a blow to the Neck** Stupid rabbit. **Sniffs the air. He spots a squirrel nibling a nut under a tree. Quietly, he stalks it then pounce, but missed. In one leap up the tree, he snaggs the squirrels tail and gives it a death blow, but lands Akwardly** Ow. **Shakes Paw** I'll just keep hunting. **After a while, all he coaught was a mouse, but the only thing he came across, because of leafbare, was a starling that he missed because of his Paw** **Looks for Pumclaw and the rest of the Patrol** There you are! **Blazefoot walks out of the Bushes** Can I take my hare to the queens?
-Foxpaw
Yes, and you may have your squirrel. Put the mouse on the fresh-kill pile, though. I'm taking my vole and fish to Silverstar. That's all I could find, but you had a great catch! Make sure you tell Pumaclaw how well you did too. **Sighs and tiredly walks back to camp with Brownpaw**
Here is the link to the gathering. You may go to the gathering on the full moon only if you are chosen. Kits may not go to the gathering, but queens may go unless they are a full moon into pregnancy. Elders also may go if they are fit to go.
This is the link to the Moonstream. Medicine cats go here on the half moon and meet with the other Medicine Cats. Leaders also go here to get their nine lives and seek advice.
Ok Foxpaw, now ill teach you a basic battle move. *demonstrates* Can you do that?
