A Glimpse at the Beast

Mallowpaw walked into the forest with Tigerpaw following.

"Hey, Mallowpaw!" he called. "Wait up, I want to show you something."

"W-wh-wha-what?" she stuttered turning around with wide eyes.

"As long as your not scared, I'll tell you," he taunted.

She gave him a look. "Whatever. What do you want?"

"Well, your gonna have to follow me," he said and walked into a dark part of the forest where no one ever goes.

"Umm. . . . No thank you," she said and made a move to leave, but Tigerpaw blocked her way. She let out a groan and turned back around.

Tigerpaw rounded a few corners and came to an area with old leaves, a small stream, and a big cave that looks like it could swallow you whole.

"Can I leave now?" she asked half annoyed, half frightened.

He groaned. "No! Just follow me, but be real quiet and walked around until he came to a ledge and climbed all the way to the top of the cave.

What am I doing!? I'm going onto a cave with who knows what. Foxes, badgers, adders. . . . . smart, she thought.

He peered through a hole on the roof and whispered, "Look at this."

She took a glance and almost shrieked at the huge brown figure at the bottom of the cave.

Suddenly, the beast stood on it's hind legs and let out a thunderous roar that seemed to shake the ground.

(BTW, the beast is a bear and don't comment as your cats being there. They can hear the roar though if they want.)

New Warriors and Prophecy

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a clan meeting!" she yowled on top of the Streamstone until her mind flashed forward and she was left at a misty moorland.

"Greetings, sister," a voice said as Silverstar saw as a black and silver tom came running up to her. "Rainpaw," she breathed.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," he meowed like an annoyed brother would. "I have important information for you."

"What?" she asked.

An unusual green glow came to his blue eyes when he said:

Beware of the one you might call son,
for the destruction will soon have begun.

For a new Tiger has come, more powerful then the first.
The evil will spread and before the end, cats will be dead.
But only the betrayer can be the saver,
so the beast is the least of your worries.

This cat is a pursuer willing to kill.
Be careful with everyone's last will.

Before she could say anything, his figure shimmered and disappeared like a broken reflection on the water and she was back on the Streamstone with her clan looking confused and whispering among each other.

"Well?" one of them called out.

"Nothing," she replied dazed. "You can all go back to your dens," she says and walks into her own and curls around her kits, very frightened.

She looked down at his paws. "Last time I checked, prey has been running fairly well. I don't see any prey," she says.

"Um. . ." he stammeres. "I wasn't out long. More of an outing than a hunting expedition."

She calls over Geodeshine, Seasons, and Blazeshadow. "Than you won't mind leading a hunting patrol?" she asked.

He shook his head and says, "What are you doing out so early?" under his breath.

"Can't a leader get some fresh-air?" she snapps and stalks over to her den.

Unexpected Blizzard

"I kow we d-didn't exspect this very c-cold weather, but I don't want any cat out without my say. So, I-I am asigning everyone a job. Blazefoot and I will be in my den. I want Swiftshadow to be in the warriors den to make sure no one leaves unless they need to s-see someone in camp. Dustfang, Mothfang, and Pumaclaw may go hunting. Borders should be fine, so no need for patrols t-there. All apprentices stay in your den, but Silverpaw is in charge. Queens and kits stay in the nusery, and Brownspots, Darkfang, and Mosspelt will guard the nursery. Willowfeather and Herbpool, stay in your dens, but check every den every so often for white-cough. The r-rest of the warriors s-stay in the Warriors' Den. When the hunting patrol comes bck, I will send out more cats. Warriors and apprentices please eat last," she finished shivering with her fur fluffed out.

River Oak

The River Oak is a large tree in the middle of the stream. It is a great spot for fishing and climbing trees. The River Oak is also hollow. The floor inside is sandy and it is a great place to father moss and even a few herbs. This is a place to relax, have fun, and even train!
